Assistant Business Office Manager – Long Beach, CA
 
We have a new employment opportunity for an experienced Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC / SNF) Assistant Business Office Manager in Long Beach, California.  This position is responsible for accurately billing Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care and private billing companies as well as performing general office activities for the building as assigned by the Office Manager.
 
The chosen ABOM will be proficient with skilled nursing billing and most widely used computer programs.  Compensation will be based upon professional experience. 
 
Assistant Business Office requirements:
  • PCC experience
  • Experience with Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed and private billing in long term care
 
ABOM responsibilities include:
  • Review/process Medi-Cal/Medicare authorizations
  • Complete, submit, and maintain all state mandated E-TAR and Medi-Cal applications
  • Assist in collection activity on all past due accounts to ensure account receivable targets are met
